I have a 1996 Ford Escort LX manual 1.9-liter engine. The transmission was broken and I know someone with a transmission 1997 Ford Escort for sale. I wanted to know if the manual gearbox of his escort to get into my 1997 Ford Escort 1996? If not, can you give me the years are generally suitable for the car of the year. Thank you all very much.
